22 April: International Mother Earth Day
22 April: International Mother Earth Day
The world on 22 April 2013 observed the
International Mother Earth Day. This day is observed with an aim of
spreading awareness to protect earth’s environment. The theme selected
for 2013 is the Face of Climate Change.
22 April is proclaimed as the International Mother Earth Day to acknowledge that Earth and its ecosystem has provided its inhabitants with sustenance and life. The day is observed to recognize a collective responsibility of human being as called for the 1992 Rio Declaration of promoting Harmony with nature and the Earth for achieving balance among the social, environmental, economic needs of the generation in existence and the one that will come in future.
Recognition of this Day reflects the interdependence of human being with other living creatures of earth in existence. The General Assembly of UN on 22 April 2009 for highlighting the need to help improve the lives of adults as well as children, who suffer from the disorder to ensure meaningful lives for them.

When we were celebrating Earths day, we thought of action "I am needed again". Children with their parents created crafts from waste.

ENO Tree Planting Day - 8 May 2013
ENO Tree Planting Day is an open event for schools and groups interested in environment and peace. It is arranged twice a year, in May and in September. The first ENO Tree Planting Day took place eight years ago in 2004. We plant trees and get to know about species on the planting sites. Tree planting is one of the most popular activities in the ENO Programme. Join us! In 2013, we will plant trees together again on 8 May and 20 Sep 2013.
Environment Online - ENO is a global virtual school and network for sustainable development. It has been running since 2000 and reached thousands of schools in 150 countries. So far we have planted around 10 million trees and we aim to plant 100 million trees by the end of 2017.

| Wir gaben ale materialien genau so wie in denn Model. |

| Watte, Sand, kleine Steine, Kohle, grosse Steine. |
 |
| Es hat spass gemacht. So einfach kann Wasswr gefiltert werden. |
Water in our environment.
We collected water from a pond, a puddle, a waterfall and from a river. We watched the water we collected and then we watered plants.

ΔΑΦΝΗ ΚΑΣΑΜΠΑ, GRIECHENLAND Nachdem wir das Buch einer griechischen Kinderschriftstellerin S. Zarabouka "To Wromochori (das dreckige Dorf)" gelesen haben entschlossen wir uns den Muell von unseren Schulhof zu sammeln.
Wir sammeln den Muell und sortieren ihn (Glas, Plastik, Aluminium und Restmuell)!!!!!
